HOW IT ALL CAME ABOUT
Music4Causes was created by five Suffolk based friends who all have a passion for music and charitable giving. The initiative is all about combining both in a fun way. With an incredible venue and plenty of pooled expertise developed over many (too many!) years in the music and charitable sectors, our happy crew has set about pulling together an awesome benefit concert.
Surveyor of farms turned farmer of fields, Rupert also manages a diverse portfolio of rural property and enterprises covering rentals, holiday lets and a very full programme of events at Suffolk Barn including 14 weddings a year! Rupert and his family are rightly proud of their farm having won Best Large Farm in Suffolk for several years.
A former Marketing and PR Manager working for the music and film majors including Paramount Films, Universal Studios, Nickelodeon and MTV.
Now kept very busy raising a family, supporting Young Art East Anglia and running Suffolk Barn with farmer hubby Rupert.
Ex music business (ageing rock chick!) executive and event manager. From working on the BRIT Awards to arranging a press trip to Ibiza; organising a ladies charity polo match for The Katie Piper Foundation to managing a production at the Old Vic to raise funds after the 9/11 tragedy.
Now residing in Suffolk and organising any social event requested!
Terry is a leading composer in the television and film world. He cut his teeth playing keyboards for bands such as The Style Council and The Cutting Crew and has since worked on a huge variety of pop projects. Terry regularly records at Abbey Road with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and his music can be heard on films like Iron Man, Nebraska, From Paris With Love as well as documentaries and TV series such as Waterloo Road and The End Of The Line.
A former aid worker in Papua New Guinea, volunteer for Amnesty International in Asia, fund-raiser, speech writer, business exec (HSBC, McKinsey and PwC) artist and insatiable adventurer.
Regularly takes on charity projects as well as painting and teaching art courses from her Suffolk studio.
